What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and improve your experience.

Cookies We Use

Essential cookies

Required for the website to function. These include session cookies for login, CSRF protection tokens, and theme preference (dark/light mode). These cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use our website. We do not use Google Analytics. Our analytics do not track individual users or create advertising profiles.

Payment cookies

Payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Paystack, etc.) may set cookies during the checkout process to prevent fraud and process payments securely.

Cookies in the Plugin

The AgarCo Donate plugin itself does not set tracking cookies on your donors. The geo-detection feature uses IP-based lookup (not cookies) to determine donor location. If you enable the donor portal, a secure session cookie is used for magic link authentication.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the website from functioning correctly. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your experience.

Third-Party Cookies

Payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Paystack, Flutterwave, etc.) may set their own cookies during checkout. These are governed by their respective privacy policies.
